Spatial locality of electronic correlations in LiFeAs

We address the question of degree spatial nonlocality self-energy in iron-based superconductors, a subject which is receiving considerable attention. Using LiFeAs as prototypical example, we extract from angular-resolved photoemission spectroscopy data. use two distinct electronic structure references: density functional theory local approximation and linearized quasiparticle self-consistent GW (LQSGW). find that with LQSGW reference, spatially dynamical correlations provide consistent description experimental data, account for some surprising aspects data such substantial out-of-plane dispersion electron Fermi surface having dominant $xz/yz$ character. Hence, effects can be separated into static nonlocal contributions well described by contributions. Hall effect resistivity are shown to this description.
